In 1995 we Prakash Vikram and Suhas 3 young technocrats got together to form Instotech© the first partnership firm in Panvel to start calibration service. The process industries in and around Panvel were the first to benefit from the our services.
We started in a small way with just a dead-weight pressure tester and a couple of test gauges with a client base of just 3. Through hard and diligent working we made it grow. More and more equipments were purchased and the workload became too much to handle. We then started hiring qualified man-power. The scope of calibration also started expanding.
      By the year 1999 we had built up a client base of nearly 65 which included some of the multinationals. At present our client base is more that 400 in all over India Gulf  & African country. Along with Pressure other parameters like Vacuum Thermal & Speed (Tachometers) Time Ammeter Voltmeter PH Conductivity Mechanical Measurement were being calibrated regularly that too at the premises of some of the clients.
      We are at present  ISO 9001:2008 Certified company.

Ours is an independent laboratory and is legally identifiable through the following registration with the Govt. of India:

The laboratory carries out calibrations of thermal Electro-technical mechanical measuring instruments in a manner that complies with requirements of ISO clients and regulatory authority where applicable.
We have permanent calibration activities in Panvel. We also perform on-site calibration at clients' premises as and when required. The quality management system laid down and practiced by us covers operations at the permanent facility as well as on-site.
The responsibilities and authorities of all personnel are clearly defined so that there is no conflict of interest.
We have technically qualified personnel for calibration activities. They are fully trained to perform calibration activities and maintain quality management system as per ISO/IEC 17025 so that they can detect departure from its laid down policies & procedures.
We have a Technical Manager who has all the authority and resources necessary to ensure that the calibration and allied activities of the laboratory are carried out as per the laid down quality system described in Manual.
